TILO Neck & Wrist
Neck and wrist protection in one base layer. Core and Elite versions give players a choice of protection level and feel.
TILO started with a simple idea: protection should not be something you add to a player after everything else. It should be built into what they already wear.
TILO is Warroad's approach to protection: combine the function of a base layer with protection where it matters. Instead of thinking about a single neck guard, TILO thinks about the player as a system — what happens at the neck, where the glove meets the elbow pad, where the pant meets the skate, and where the lower leg sits above the boot.
The goal is simple: make protection something a player can actually wear every shift. That means protection has to work with the rest of the equipment, feel like part of the uniform, and stay where it is supposed to stay.
Protection only exists where the material sits. That is why the TILO system is designed around four connected zones.
The TILO stand-up collar brings cut-resistant protection around the neck and clavicle area.
Covered by · TILO Neck & Wrist TopThe built-in wrist closes the space between the glove and elbow pad instead of leaving that area exposed.
Covered by · TILO Neck & Wrist TopThe Cup Connector Pant's back-of-leg panel extends cut-resistant coverage toward the lower calf and Achilles.
Covered by · Cup Connector PantFlying Eagle brings cut-resistant coverage around the lower leg from the ankle bone toward the top of the calf.
Covered by · Flying Eagle SockA protection product only helps if a player keeps wearing it. That is why TILO is designed as a base layer rather than an afterthought.
The neck and wrist live in the same shirt. The lower leg is covered by a dedicated pant panel and a purpose-built sock. Different pieces, one idea: build protection into the equipment a player already understands.
Start with the protection you need, then build the system around the player.

The lower-leg part of the system. Its back-of-leg protection helps extend cut-resistant coverage toward the calf and Achilles.

No fabric can make a player impossible to hurt. Cut-resistant equipment is designed to reduce the likelihood and/or severity of a laceration when contact occurs. TILO's language is deliberately simple: protection should stack the odds in the player's favor, not promise something no garment can guarantee.
A protection rating does not matter if the product does not cover the area being exposed. TILO therefore starts with coverage: neck and wrist in the top, lower calf and Achilles through the Cup Connector Pant, and lower-leg coverage through the Flying Eagle sock.
TILO treats comfort and performance as part of the protection equation. A product that stays in the equipment bag cannot provide its intended protection on the ice.
The neck is not the only place a skate can reach. TILO's protection system extends the conversation down the body, connecting the top, pant and sock into a more complete approach to skate-cut protection.
We would rather teach you what the protection does than tell you what to be afraid of. TILO is built around real coverage, tested materials and equipment that players can wear every shift.
That means being precise about ratings, precise about coverage, and precise about what cut-resistant equipment can actually do.
Cut resistant, not cut proof. Protection equipment is not a guarantee against injury.
Start with the zone that matters most to you, then build the protection system around the player.
